These T8 tubes utilize hybrid technology to operate whether a ballast is present or not. Additionally, the tubes are dimmable.
Type A+B – Hybrid: Type A+B hybrid types are the most versatile tubes. They reduce installation issues because you can start by using them as plug and play with a compatible ballast, then switch to ballast bypass operation when the ballast reaches its end of life.
